Pet Remembrance Day

The blog world is alive today with people telling tales and sharing memories of lost loved animal friends. They are asking that we light a candle and drink a toast to the ones that have gone before us. Follow the trail if you like. Its starts here:

Best quote so far: "we may not have had them with us forever, but we were their- ever"
I dont see it as them leaving holes in our hearts as much as I see them leaving to make room for another lost soul.

Dudley Update

Thanks everyone for all your wishes and prayers. Dudley is slowing coming back. Late last night he ate all his greens and is pooping like he is in a contest. He would not eat at the vet or poop so yesterday morning under heavy protest I took him home. I can do fluids and all the shots right here where he feels safe. When he saw Mojo immediately his mood lifted and he started running around. That seemed to get the pooper going. He is on baytril for the tooth infection. The molar was very ugly, long and growing into his cheek.

I am off to do subqs and give him his meds. Wish me luck because he is one pissed off bunny rabbit with mom. We are guarded but very pleased with his progress.

Thank you ALL so much. You are always the people that get me through this.

If You Would

Folks if you would, please send healing thoughts, vibes, prayers or whatever you do for little Dudley. He is in the hospital. A bad tooth and an intestinal blockage. He is getting fluids and all sorts of other meds. We are waiting for word of movement on the blockage. Please keep him in your thoughts.

Mojo's Monday Mantra

If all misfortunes were laid in one common heap whence everyone must take an equal portion, most people would be contented to take their own and depart.
