It's About Time

It's about time these beautiful and brave women received their recognition. If you don't know who the WASPS were, they served the Air Force during World War II. Their service has never really been acknowledged and celebrated like it should. They are finally receiving their Congressional Medals after all these years and after so many of them have gone to the Summer lands. Congratulations ladies and Thank You from the bottom of my heart for your service!

I agree! So many of our military both past and present are not honored and appreciated nearly enough, the sacrifice these people make and their families make deserves recognition and appreciation!

Now those are some sexy women! What a great picture. So many women & people of minority have had their contributions during times of dire need overlooked & forgotten about. May their legacy live on.

Woohoo...some extremely deserving (and gorgeous) women! While the fact that it's taken so many decades to receive their just desserts is sad and astonishing, it doesn't take away from the beauty of their recognition! Another point for womankind! =)

Very cool. There was a big write-up about them in my local newspaper. I also like seeing old pictures of real cowgirls.
