Shocking, wasn't it?! Living on the coast, we were fearful of what a tsunami might bring. Fortunately, we suffered no ill effects other than unusually high winds.
It really illustrates how connected we all are in this small world. Something happens way off in Japan and, thousands of miles away, we feel the effects, however small.
